Never Say Never

The biggest thing motherhood has taught me these last 9 years...

Never say never

I’ll never let my kid do that.

I’ll never be a co-sleeping  mom.

They’ll never watch that much TV.

They won’t get a phone that early.

I’d never let my kid eat that…

All sound familiar?

That was me too, for many years!

The more I put myself in a NEVER parenting box the more closed off I was to new opportunity for our family and the more I looked around at what everyone else was doing

When the NEVERS came into fruition I would feel shame and guilt like I was doing something wrong or failing my kids.

Never understanding that as parents we are learning and growing just as much as our children, sometimes even more and we have every opportunity to shift and change our mindset and believe too.

Not only to feel better but do better for ourselves and future.

The more I have adapted to the mindset  that we always have options peace, freedom and joy comes.

That we constantly have the choice to change our mind and choose better.

With every new season allows opportunity for growth and redirection.

This not only has served me in motherhood but has allowed me to look for opportunity in many other areas of life.

It's building a better business long term, teaching me ways to be a better stay at home mom and farmers wife, learning new skills to be a better friend.

The best part is even as we get to shift, change and grow together we get to keep the core values that our family has set and we get to work from a place of expansion.

If you are new into parenting or feel complete frustration…

Maybe it's time to shift from the never say never and see what opportunity really starts working for you and your family in every new season.

You have one chance at this life and being completely closed off creates feelings of showing small, like you are constntly failing and less than.

It is your time to grow, set boundaries and step into who you were created to be as a parent!

Give youreslf room to grow.

You've got this mama

With Love,

Ashley
