What if you just went for it!

I just returned from a cup filling quick 24 hour trip in Vegas
It really got me thinking how much things have changed over the last 9 years.
I remember as a newly stay at home mom, I felt so stuck.

It was 4 months after our first was born, as a family we officially made the decision for me to come home full time.
The commute, the pay and the long hours away from our new baby just wasn’t how we saw our life panning out.
It sounded like a DREAM to be a stay at home mom.
What I didn’t know was the roller coaster of emotions, loneliness and lack of identity that would come with being a new mom and staying home full time.
Fast forward a few more kids, several more years of staying home and the immense work that I’ve done to know I am exactly where God desires me to be in this season.
But it wouldn’t have been this way if we didn’t just go for it!
If I could hug my newly stay at home mom self all those years ago and let her know these things

-Eliminate the worries of what could happen IF…
The more you worry about the ifs and things you cannot control the more overwhelmed and anxious you will feel. Meaning you will be robbed of the joy, gratitude and energy that is placed right in front of you. TRUST you are exactly where you are supposed to be and everything is going to work out.
-The sooner you stop caring about what others think the quicker you can live a REALLY good life.
As a mom who decided to really go for it 5.5 years ago and learn how to bring an income in from home It is not up to you to justify to others why you are making the decisions for your family. Keep showing up and create the life you KNOW you are capable of because no matter how hard you try someone will be offended, won’t get it or will flat out try to sabotage how you feel.
-Move NOW, you don’t have to have it all figured out
The quicker you take action on what is stirring in your heart the quicker you will see results. It is not about having every duck in a row. Actually the best way to learn is showing up consistently and messy for the things that are really important to you, especially in motherhood.
Whatever is stirring in your heart, it is there for a reason.
If you made it this far the one thing I hope you take from this…
I don’t care where you are right now.
Make today the day you decide to JUST GO FOR IT.
Take consistent action over the next 6 months and see how far you get.
It is not about achieving the specific goal but learning to evolve, grow and creating a really good life along the way.
Creating a life you can look back on and be really proud of.
With Love,
Ashley
